Making Fraud Fun

I recently took on the task of marketing deposit fraud detection software for Advanced Fraud Solutions. The challenge here was tricky: get banks and credit unions to get who we are, what we do, and why they need us.

The first step was to build in a tagline onto the long-standing logo to maintain their brand recognition in the industry while differentiating the positioning more clearly. The copywriting challenge here was to make something that can be very wordy and complex and make it sound easy.

This is where I landed:

First in Fraud Defense. Okay next step.... Create a personality to make this brand fly.

Introducing the Fraud Squad! A team of fraud-fighting AFS team members who tackle the deposit fraud challenges of our bank/credit union customers with ease.



Now we have the foundations of a brand.... but how do we explain the who, what, and why? Video, of course! 



Next up.... ads! 








Okay, now that we have traffic coming to the website, I built out a Knowledge Center section to host all the great content we were creating such as case studies, white papers, reports and more! 


And we can't forget the creation of the Fraud Fighters Blog which has grown to over 200 subscribers and counting.
